Meet Isabelle Capua. Isabelle is the youngest of 4 daughters and has been very busy while she has been at Flower Mound High School. She has been an active member of FMHS Student Council for 4 years, has played High School and Club Volleyball, is currently the Senior Class President, serves as a Kindness Ambassador and is a member of the English Honor Society. She is involved in Love Thy Neighbor and the youth group at her church. Isabelle also has had a few jobs; she has been a carhop at Sonic and an after-school nanny for 3 children.
Isabelle is heading off to TCU in the Fall and couldn’t be more excited about this next big adventure. We are excited to see what your future at TCU brings Isabelle! TCU is lucky to get you.
Q: Where do you go to school?
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: I have very supportive and kind parents. I have 3 older sisters, 2 have graduated from college and 1 will be a senior at Arkansas.
Q: Please tell us what activities you enjoyed being involved in in school.
A: Student Council, Kindness Club, and Rowdy Crowd.
Q: Please tell us about your plans after graduation.
A: I will attend Texas Christian University.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: The manager at Chili’s is really nice!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: Fiji, I was supposed to go there in March but my trip was canceled. I want to learn how to surf and I love the beach.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: My favorite TV show is All American and my favorite movie is The Holiday.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?
A: Make good choices and be happy.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: Luke Bryan.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: My best friend Brooke Dial! I haven’t seen her in what feels like forever and I miss her so much. We would meet at Asahi.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
A: I love how the community comes together for parades and events.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: I see myself teaching kids, being a dog mom, and hopefully traveling on vacations.
Q: What show are you binge watching right now?
A: Little Fires Everywhere.
Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: October, Christmas, My Birthday.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My sisters.
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?
A: I would become more involved freshmen year.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: I miss going to taco Tuesday at Rosas with my friends.
Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?
A: Get my nails done.
