Logan Diedrich

Meet Logan Diedrich.

Logan has been a member of  Flower Mound High School‘s  Rosettes all 4 years and has loved it! She is currently a Senior Officer with the Rosettes.  When asked about her time at FMHS she says, ” Being involved in a program like Rosettes gave me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people.. Going into high school is such a big change, but being a part of something made it so easy!”  She is also very  involved in her  church group and Younglife, which connected her to good friends and built her faith.

Logan has enjoyed her time at Flower Mound High School and has participated fully and shown leadership while she has been there.  We are excited to see what the future holds for you Logan at the University of Oklahoma.  Boomer!

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: Flower Mound High School.

Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path? I plan on attending the University of Oklahoma and studying education. I chose this path of my love for kids, and wanting to have an influence on their lives and the future.

Please tell us a little bit about your family. I grew up the youngest of three girls. My oldest sister, Kendall, attended the University of Oklahoma and studied elementary education. She now works as a Kindergarten teacher in Colorado Springs, Colorado. My middle sister, Macey, attends Baylor University and is studying medicine. I was born in Arizona and moved to Texas when I was two. We have been in Flower Mound ever since!

Q: What are couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

A: I have so many favorite restaurants in our community, but a few are; Anamia’s, Edohana Sushi, and Mio Nonno Trattoria.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: If I could travel anywhere right now I would want to go to Europe, preferably Ireland, and make my way around those countries. I think Ireland’s culture is so unique and fun and has always been somewhere I’ve wanted to visit, as well as Europe itself.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: Picking a favorite movie is always so hard for me because I love many. I would say one I never get tired of is Crazy Rich Asians. I could watch that on repeat! I also love the Office and Grey’s Anatomy.

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

A: My drill team director, Ms.Elmore, always told our team to lead by example. No matter what position you were on on the team, there would always be someone watching you. That always stuck with me to make good choices and think of how my actions will show to those watching me.

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?

A: I love every genre of music and could listen to anything, but my go to band is always Dan + Shay. I could listen to them all day!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: I would go to lunch with Billie Eilish because she is the same age as me and so successful. I also love her music and her easy going personality. I would meet her at Anamia’s to show her the best Tex Mex!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: What I love about Flower Mound is how it has a small town feel. Especially during this time people have been reaching out and being very helpful to those around them. Offering to buy groceries for people, making masks, and supporting local businesses are all examples of this.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: In 5 to 10 years I see myself teaching at a local school and staying close to family. Maybe having a dog or 2, and hopefully getting on track to have a family.

Q: What show are you binge-watching right now?

A: I am currently binge watching The Office, and loving every minute of it!!

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?

A: My favorite month is July because I love summer and being outside. My favorite holiday is Christmas, and the best single day on the calendar is my birthday!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: My sisters have always been who I looked up to. They push me to be my best, and I aspire to be half the women they are one day.

Q: If you could go back over your entire school career, what is one thing you would do differently?

A: I honestly wouldn’t change anything. I love how my school career turned out, and wish I was able to properly finish it.

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?

A: I miss school and my friends the most right now. The last 2 months of Senior year are what I have been looking forward to my whole life, so I am devastated that I don’t get to enjoy it.

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

A: I want to hug my friends!! I miss not getting to see them everyday, so the first thing I will do is go see them.
